Chess every Saturday morning and Tuesday evening

Do a good move – play chess in Copenhagen in the Chess-salon at Hostrupsvej 8, Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. Tourists are very welcome. The chess shop is open at the same time.

Everyone from 5 to 99 years old, girls and boys, women and men, are welcome. You find yourself an opponent, You decide whether it’s blitz chess or ordinary chess.

You can buy coffee and bread at reasonable prices – and if you are not a chess player, just enjoy your coffee and the good atmosphere in the Chess-salon.

The Chess-salon is free on Saturdays, while the Chess-shop is open for sale. The Chess-shop is called Better to Chess – see www.bedretilskak.dk – and form the physical framework for the Chess-salon.

Registration is not required – just turn op.

If you want to meet new chess friends in a casual chess environment, the Chess-salon is something for you. Here you will find a real pleasure for the classic board game. Everyone regardless of chess experience is welcome – come and share your fascination with chess with others.

During an evening we are playing each other and we are looking at a “chess theme” (see the overview to the right), which Henrik Andersen has prepared. In addition, participants are welcome to propose topics, such as a chess or a chess assignment, as seen on the internet. All questions, ideas and initiatives are welcome.
